On Wednesday evening, January 20, 2010 Jane Purkis presented Jerry Morse with the 1st Annual Eleanor Purkis Memorial Student Teacher Scholarship.  This scholarship is provided to Benzie County Central School graduates who are completing their student teaching experience.  Jerry is a member of the Class of 2005 and recently completed his student teaching wiht Glen Lake Community Schools.
