Counseling

Welcome to the official Benzie Central Schools on-line Counseling Center. We hope that parents, students, faculty, and community members will be able to find information and resources useful to them regarding many issues related to high school students, their education and their careers.

The Professional School Counselor is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Counseling, including coursework in career development, human growth and behavior, guidance and information, and the completion of supervised internship.  Mr. Dan Salyer is the counselor for students grade 10 to 12.  Mrs. Barbara Powell the counselor for grades 6 to 9.
