Mini Grant Information
Thank you for inquiring about a Benzie County Central Schools Educational Foundation grant. The Foundation’s mission is to act as a supportive educational organization which receives and distributes funds for educational purposes that will benefit students and the general public of Benzie County Central Schools.Grants may be applied for four times a year. If your proposal arrives late, it will not be considered until the next grant cycle.
Application Deadline: Foundation Approval:
Ø November’s end mid-January
Ø February’s end mid-March
Ø May’s end mid-June
Ø August’s end mid-September
A cover letter should be included along with the completed application form. It should introduce your organization, state your proposal and make a strategic link between your proposal and the Benzie County Central Schools Educational Foundation’s mission. To further explain your project, you may be asked to give an oral presentation to the Foundation. Successful projects, primarily those with an activities emphasis, should serve as a model for replication to achieve greater and long-term impact in the community.
