Hello and welcome!! Here is a little bit about me.
I grew up in Traverse City. After graduating from Traverse City schools, I attended Northwestern Michigan College for two years and then proceeded to Northern Michigan University. My degree is in Elementary Education/Special Education (cognitive impairment) with a minor in psychology. Upon graduating from NMU in December 2002, I subbed for TCAPS and Benzie for one winter. Prior to that, I worked at Annie's in Traverse City and in the summers, I worked at Boone Docks in Glen Arbor. Currently, I am working towards my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Developmental Delay. I hope to graduate by the summer of '09.
My husband, Joe, and I have twin daughters, who were born in March 2005. Their names are Alice and Emily. Mr. Thiel works as the ammonia refrigeration and the buildings and grounds supervisor at Sara Lee Bakery Co. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities, spending time with my family, watching movies and doing crafts.
