Kindergarten Round-Up:
The schoolyear 2013/2014 BCS Kindergarten Round-Up as been scheduled as follows:
Michigan legislation has enacted new kindergarten enrollment guidelines which will gradually change the age of student eligibility over the course of the next 3 school years. This change impacts all kindergarten age students and public schools in Michigan. New guidelines are as follows:
- For the 2013-2014 school year, children must be 5 years old on or before November 1st.
- For the 2014-2015 school year, children must be 5 years old on or before October 1st.
- For the 2015-2016 school year (and beyond), children must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.
Note: Parents must sign the attached waiver prior to June 1st inorder to enroll children not meeting the age requirements above.
