Timeline Project - Mini Research Paper

Write a brief (100 word minimum) paper about your timeline event.  The kind of information you share about your event will depend on what kind of event it is (animal, geologic event, etc.), but here are some ideas that may help guide your writing:

• How does this event fit into the "big picture" of our planet's history? 
• What led up to this event?
• What happened later as a result of this event?
• What was unique about this event?
• Describe details of the event.

It will obviously take some research to do a good job answering these questions.  At the end of your paper, you must paste the URL of all websites used in your research. 
Two websites minimum.

This paper is worth 20 points and will be graded as follows:

Content (10 points) - How much information did you include, and is it correct?

Written in your own words (5 points) - You may need to copy some individual words from your source, but you must construct the sentences yourself.

Writing Conventions (3 points) - Correct spelling, complete sentences, neat format. (Arial size 12 font, double spaced)

Citations (2 points) - Websites where you gathered your info are listed.
