The Penny Lab
Does anybody really lose sleep worrying about which brand of tissue is
stronger when wet?
Probably not.
None the less, this activity is a great introduction to the Scientific
Method and the importance of
testing only one variable at a time. It's also where we learn what's
expected in a lab report.
Incidentally, this year's strongest tissue specimen held over 200 pennies!
